We do historical research; emphasising our particular expertise in Land use history; Industrial history; Defence history and Rural history and our ability to place the history of an individual person, place or area into a state or national context.

We do Archaeological research in the areas of; archaeological survey, archaeological assessment, archaeological zoning and management plans, obtaining archaeological excavation permits, test, salvage and large-scale excavations and buildings archaeology. Types of archaeological sites we have worked on range from urban, rural to industrial archaeological sites. We also will undertake preliminary archaeological assessments for underwater archaeological sites. We can act as Excavation Director for Section 140 permits if required.

We undertake Heritage work including; Heritage Impact Statements, Heritage Assessments; Conservation Management Strategies and Conservation Management Plans. We have expereince in using heritage and archaeology to help with townscape development projects. We also can undertake Archival Recording of heritage items. Often we combine archaeological assessments with heritage assessments.
